Energy Security, Energy Transitions and International Relations: A Conversation with His Excellency Philippe Etienne

In the midst of the Russia-Ukraine crisis, the Baker Institute Center for Energy Studies hosted His Excellency Philippe Etienne, the ambassador of France to the United States, to discuss energy security, energy transitions and international relations. Ambassador Etienne offered a timely perspective on the energy challenges that are now at the center of transatlantic relations, a few weeks after the U.S.-EU Energy Council released a joint statement on energy and as France holds the presidency of the Council of the European Union, with the energy transition as a top priority.
