Healthy early childhood development is critical to our nation’s vitality, yet investments in young children have been historically lacking. For many American families, the COVID-19 pandemic created major disruptions that negatively impacted young children. To remediate the harmful effects of COVID-19 on young children and their families, the American Rescue Plan included an unprecedented amount of federal funding to support early childhood development. Whether the funding will change the trajectory of the nation’s youth depends on evidence-based policies, programming and implementation at the state and local levels.
At this webinar, Quianta Moore, the Huffington Fellow in Child Health Policy, moderated a virtual discussion with a panel of experts on how to support the next generation of children and their families, and how the American Rescue Plan can be leveraged to implement evidence-based strategies.
