New health insurance marketplaces are now open in all 50 states, and many states have accepted federal support to expand their Medicaid programs. Has health care become more affordable — and if so, for whom? At this Health Policy Forum event, Vivian Ho, who leads the Health Policy Forum, will discuss who has, and has not, benefited from the Affordable Care Act (ACA), based on the latest research from around the country. She will highlight changes in coverage in the private and public sectors as well as the steps that employers are taking to stem rising health care costs. Ho will also examine changes in physician and hospital organizations resulting from the ACA.

The cost of attendance for the general public is $50. Health Policy Forum and Roundtable members receive complimentary admission; please contact bipprsvp@rice.edu for the promotional code.

The registration deadline is Wednesday, July 16. Full refunds are available before 5 p.m. on Friday, July 18. After this date, you may send an alternate to attend the event without an additional charge. To request a cancellation or to make a registration change, send an email to bipprsvp@rice.edu.
