Webinar — Mexico Country Outlook 2022

At the third annual Mexico Country Outlook, a team of experts examined the major challenges facing Mexico and anticipated what companies can expect in 2022. The outlook focused on Mexico’s politics, economic prospects, new regulatory environment, and public safety and security landscape, as well as the state of relations between the U.S. and Mexico. The aim of the conference was for companies and investors doing business, or wishing to do business, in Mexico to be well positioned to handle the challenges and opportunities ahead.

His Excellency Arturo Herrera Gutiérrez, former secretary of finance and public credit for the Andrés Manuel López Obrador administration, provided keynote remarks. Following his address, two expert panels composed of Center for the United States and Mexico fellows and nonresident experts provided insight and additional information, focusing first on politics, trade and energy and then on border issues such as health, immigration, security and water.

Registration has closed.

Admission to this conference was free for members of the U.S.-Mexico Forum and $1,000 for general attendees. Admission was discounted at $250 for members of the Baker Institute Roundtable and $150 for members of the Roundtable Young Professionals.
