For the fourth consecutive year, the Baker Institute Center for Energy Studies and Baker Botts L.L.P. co-hosted their annual energy conference. This year's event, "Pandemic, Price War and Other Disruptions: Resilience in Energy Systems," was held virtually across four days and addressed current issues affecting global energy markets, the oil and gas industry, electricity, renewables and the environment. The conference featured over 20 speakers, who addressed how the energy industry responded to the events of 2020 and how those events will shape the industry going forward.
On day two of the conference, speakers discussed the evolution of power markets, including the future of regulation and the effects of the pandemic. For more details, see the agenda below.
