2015 State of Manufacturing

Fueled by the American domestic energy boom, groundbreaking innovation and world-leading productivity, manufacturing in the United States is on the move. The shale gas and oil revolution has helped to ignite a manufacturing comeback that is transforming the Gulf Coast and U.S. economy in far-reaching ways.

Jay Timmons, president and CEO of the National Association of Manufacturers, will showcase the advances in manufacturing and explore the implications of new investment in the Gulf Coast and shale development for manufacturing in the rest of the United States. He will also discuss current energy and environmental policy challenges and lay out the manufacturing agenda for leadership.
