The global oil market has been dramatically impacted by a historic demand shock resulting from the reaction to the Covid-19 pandemic and a price war between two of the world’s largest producers — Saudi Arabia and Russia. In an attempt to bring some stability to the oil market, Saudi Arabia, Russia and other oil-producing states have promised to make the largest production cuts the world has ever seen. Despite this, significant economic and political uncertainties remain. At this webinar, a panel of experts from the Center for Energy Studies continued their discussion of these unprecedented times and addressed some of the key uncertainties moving forward.
