The James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy and Carnegie Moscow Center hosted a two-day executive seminar on U.S.-Russian energy issues. The event was attended by top executives from Russian and U.S. oil and gas companies, government officials and independent experts from both countries. The seminar focused on the strategic and geopolitical implications of Russian energy supply, security and pricing. Some of the key issues discussed were U.S.-Russian energy cooperation, the strategic role and future global significance of Russia"s oil industry, the strategic importance of Russian gas and the role of the Caspian region as part of Russia"s energy strategy.

The event was held in Moscow, Russia.  It was generously sponsored by The Japan Petroleum Energy Center, Renaissance Capital, Baker Botts L.L.P., Eurasia Programme at the Judge Institute of Management, Cambridge University and Lehman Brothers
