Throughout the first year of his term, Mexico’s President Andrés Manuel López Obrador has made a series of policy decisions that have dramatically altered the country’s business landscape. As a result, 2020 is likely to bring new challenges to Mexico’s economic, political, social and policy environments, and accurately understanding these issues will be essential for companies and corporations making investment decisions in the country.

At this inaugural Mexico Country Outlook, a team of experts examined the major challenges facing the country and forecast what companies can expect in 2020. The outlook, designed for businesses, corporations and investors, focused on Mexico’s politics, economic prospects, new regulatory environment, public safety and security landscape, and the social conflict atmosphere, as well as the state of relations between the U.S. and Mexico.

The accompanying report, "Mexico Country Outlook 2020," is available here.
