In 2017, the Texas House of Representatives held public hearings on two bills related to mandatory vaccinations for school-age children. In this issue brief, the authors dispel five common misconceptions about vaccines that were raised during the hearings.
For a second brief, the authors reviewed transcripts of the hearings to identify and analyze the witnesses' key arguments against vaccinations.
