Alexander Hernández Romanowski is a research analyst for the McNair Center for Entrepreneurship and Economic Growth. He is also a current student in the Master of Global Affairs program at Rice University. Hernández Romanowski focuses on the effects of disruptive technologies on business and market operations. His research involves exploring how blockchain technology can be used to address the access-to-capital problem for entrepreneurs and small businesses in the United States and internationally, specifically in developing countries. Prior to this role, Hernández Romanowski founded and presided over a nonprofit organization to develop sustainable projects for impoverished communities in his home country of Venezuela while also owning and managing his own business.
