If, as expected, Vladimir Putin receives a majority vote — thanks in part to his firm control of the media, the disqualification of an opposition candidate and broad domestic support — he will be eligible to serve as the country’s leader until 2024. Given the Russian government’s increasingly assertive actions over the past decade, what are the geopolitical implications of another Putin presidency?
