This is the inaugural event in a series organized by the Baker Institute with The University of Texas School of Law under the auspices of the James A. Baker III Chair in the Rule of Law in World Affairs at UT Law.

Two former U.S. permanent representatives to the United Nations will share the podium for an open discussion moderated by Fox News correspondent Eric Shawn. The Honorable Bill Richardson, governor of the state of New Mexico, and The Honorable John R. Bolton, senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute, will address the rule of law in world affairs, including key issues such as the Iran nuclear program and other topics that are at the intersection of U.S. foreign policy and international law.

Welcoming remarks and introductions will be given by The Honorable Edward P. Djerejian, founding director of the Baker Institute, and Lawrence Sager, dean of The University of Texas School of Law.
