Samantha Power is the founder and former executive director of the Carr Center for Human Rights Policy at Harvard University, where she is also an adjunct lecturer in public policy at the Kennedy School of Government. Power has recently published "A Problem from Hell: America and the Age of Genocide," winner of the Pulitzer Prize for General Nonfiction and the National Books Critics Circle Award. "A Problem from Hell" serves as a scholarly analysis of America's policy toward genocide in the 20th century, asking the haunting question:ᅡᅠ Why do American leaders who vow, "Never again," repeatedly fail to stop genocide?
