Bernard Rollin, University Distinguished Professor at Colorado State University, is a leading figure in the ethics of agriculture and animals. A philosopher by training, he also holds appointments in biomedical sciences and animal sciences. He is the author of 14 books, including "Animal Rights and Human Morality" and "The Frankenstein Syndrome: Ethical and Social Issues in the Genetic Engineering of Animals." Rollin is an immensely popular lecturer on genetic engineering, veterinary ethics and other topics.
