About the AI Policy and Governance Project
Recent advancements in AI and other related technological innovations have grown to transform social, economic, and political relations around the world. The Claudio X. González Center for the U.S. and Mexico examines the impact of these ongoing transformations in U.S. and Mexican labor markets, commercial relations, public health policies, and strategies for economic and social growth, and explores new opportunities for AI research and policy collaboration between the United States, Mexico, and other countries in Latin America. Through its partnership with the Global Network of Internet and Society Research Centers (NoC), the Claudio X. González Center for the U.S. and Mexico is also part of a network of over 135 research centers around the world collaborating in pursuit of regulatory interoperability and responsible AI innovation.
