Biography
Armando Guio Español is a nonresident scholar at the Claudio X. González Center for the U.S. and Mexico and executive director of the Global Network of Internet Centers. He has advised public and private entities worldwide on data protection, artificial intelligence policies, and innovative governance. A lawyer, Guio holds a Master of Laws from Harvard Law School and a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Oxford. He is also an affiliated researcher at Harvard University’s Berkman Klein Center and serves on the OECD’s Artificial Intelligence and Risk Expert Group.
