Secretary of Energy Granholm visits with geothermal industry leaders at Baker Institute

Rice’s Baker Institute for Public Policy hosted an energy roundtable with U.S. Secretary of Energy Jennifer Granholm and geothermal industry leaders March 7. The participants discussed permitting and funding as well as how this form of localized green energy can utilize the existing oil and gas workforce to become a bigger player in combating the climate crisis.
