The institute's Space Policy Program presents two separate events this fall that chart the rise and fall of the U.S. space program. On Sept. 20, George Washington University professor emeritus John Logsdon discusses "John F. Kennedy and the Race to the Moon." Mark Albrecht, former executive secretary of the National Space Council, discusses "Falling Back to Earth," his book about the decline of the aerospace industry, on Oct. 26.
