As Texas voters prepare to head to the polls in November, Baker Institute expert Mark Jones will offer his take on what the elections might mean for the future of politics in the state. Jones, Baker Institute fellow in political science and chair of Rice University’s Department of Political Science, frequently talks to the media about the gubernatorial race between Wendy Davis and Greg Abbott, and here’s your chance to ask him questions yourself. Come for the presentation, and stay for the food, drinks and excellent networking opportunities.

This event is free for Associate Roundtable and Emerging Leaders members, and $15 for nonmembers.

The Roundtable Emerging Leaders and the Associate Roundtable are the premier membership groups for young professionals under 45 who are interested in the defining issues of our time. For more information about membership, please visit our website at www.bakerinstitute.org/EL or contact development coordinator Jessalyn Giacona at 713.348.5624 or jg45@rice.edu.
