Former Gov. Jeb Bush speaks on "America"s Promise" and addresses U.S.-Latin American trade issues in the inaugural lecture of the Robert A. Mosbacher Global Issues Series, established in the name of former the former secretary of commerce to honor his contributions to politics and public service. The series will host academics, trade policy experts, policymakers, and major stakeholders from the private sector to engage in workshops, conferences, and lectures on program-relevant topics. Jeb Bush served as the 43rd governor of Florida from 1998 to 2007. Ambassador Edward P. Djerejian, founding director of the Baker Institute, provides welcoming remarks, and James A. Baker, III, honorary chair, delivers the introduction.
