The Baker Institute Latin America Initiative presents a discussion with former Mexican Foreign Affairs Secretary Jorge Castañeda. In his address, "Neighbors of Consequence: Mexico-U.S. Relations in the 21st Century," Castañeda draws upon his diverse experiences as both an insider in and a critic of institutions in both nations to explore the most crucial issues for the success of Mexico-U.S. relations in the coming years. As a scholar, statesman and politician who has worked and lived in both countries, Castañeda is distinctively positioned to speak about the unique and important relationship between the two neighbors.
