The Davoudi Emerging Leaders Lecture Series was exclusive to members of the Roundtable Young Professionals and was held once per month through May 2021. Each event in the series featured a conversation about public policy fundamentals, practical information on working in the public policy sphere, and the charge and impact of the Baker Institute itself.
At this event, Mark P. Jones, fellow in political science, and Edward M. Emmett, fellow in energy and transportation policy and former county judge of Harris County, Texas, discussed strategies for responsibly formulating policy positions while in public office. Following their discussion, attendees were invited to an interactive Q&A session.
The Baker Institute thanks Haydeh and Ali Davoudi for supporting these important conversations. Click here for a list of other webinars in the series.
