Professor of Political Science
Professor Jones' research focuses on the effect of electoral laws and other political institutions on governance, representation, and voting. He has received substantial financial support for this research, including two grants from the National Science Foundation. His recent articles have appeared in journals such as the American Journal of Political Science, Comparative Political Studies, Electoral Studies, and the Journal of Politics. Professor Jones regularly advises several United States government institutions on economic and political affairs in Argentina and has conducted research on Latin American public policy issues for numerous international organizations, including the Inter-American Development Bank, United Nations Development Programme, and World Bank. Professor Jones is currently serving as Chair of the Department of Political Science. |
