About the Program

The Space Policy Program engages in research and issues public policy recommendations on national space policy and international cooperation in space. The program also sponsors STEM advances in support of the space program. It serves as a forum to convene experts from academia, government, industry and others and hosts workshops, international student exchanges, seminars and lectures covering the universe of space-related topics.

The program is led by senior fellow in space policy George W.S. Abbey, the former director of NASA‘s Johnson Space Center in Houston.
