- Publications Guidelines: The Publications Guidelines provide an overview of the Baker Institute's approach to publishing, editorial standards, and a description of the editorial process.
- Editorial Pipeline: Research submitted for publication is tracked in the Communications Pipeline along with digital projects, podcast episodes, newsletters, web updates, and event marketing.
- Editorial Calendar: The Baker Institute Publications Releases Google calendar is maintained by the editorial team to plan Baker Institute publications slated for release and share approved marketing language.

Submit a Digital Request
Use this form to submit an update to an expert page or landing page, a request for social media promotion on the institute’s main accounts, or graphic design support.

- Digital Media Guidelines: The Digital Media Guidelines serve as a framework for creating, managing, and publishing digital content at the Baker Institute, including social media content, visual assets, videos, and podcasts.
- Style Guidelines & Brand Templates: The Style Guidelines provide instructions for maintaining the institute's visual identity, style, and brand. The Brand Templates include downloadable fonts, logos, and templates. The Intern Resources include downloadable resources for use with center and program interns. Please use this link to access a template for intern certificates.
- Trend Reports: Internal updates on the Baker Institute's key communications metrics and milestones. Quarterly and annual reports are delivered to researchers, staff, and select Rice colleagues. See previous reports for 2025, 2024, and 2023.

- Media Outreach: Reach out for assistance coordinating a press release, media advisory, or expert alert through Rice Public Affairs, a Baker Institute news update to be published on the “Press” section of our website (for example, a recent award or appointment), or op-ed editing and/or pitching.
