Shell Distinguished Lecture Series - Olusegun Obasanjo

In 1999, Obasanjo became Nigeria's first civilian ruler in 15 years after contesting and winning the presidential election on the ticket of the Peoples Democratic Republic. President Obasanjo observed that Africa, as a whole, has been, "unstable for too long," during a presentation at the Baker Institute.
