Graduate Fellow
Rosa Dominguez-Faus is a graduate fellow at the Baker Institute Energy Forum and a Ph.D. student in Rice University's civil and environmental engineering department. Dominguez-Faus analyzes the implications of U.S. biofuels policy for national water resources, with the dual objective of accommodating the increased water demand to water budgets and to minimize negative aspects of water quality deterioration. Dominguez-Faus received her M.S. in environmental engineering from Rice University (2007) and her B.Sc. in environmental sciences from the University of Girona, Spain (2001). In 2008, she published a paper in Biodegradation Journal titled “Aerobic bioremediation of chlorobenzene source-zone soil in flow-through columns: performance assessment using quantitative PCR.” |
