Why Three Republicans Made the Hot List.

Three incumbent Republicans in the Texas state senate find themselves in an unwelcome position this primary season: Sens. Donna Campbell (New Braunfels), John Carona (Dallas) and Kel Seliger (Amarillo) are all in fights for their political lives. Mark Jones, fellow in political science, analyzes the senators' individual voting records to find out if they are significantly more or less conservative than one would expect based on the ideological position of fellow party identifiers in their Senate districts.
