These polls, released in April 2022 by the Texas Hispanic Policy Foundation, surveyed Texan voters about candidates in the 2022 Texas elections. The surveys were co-led by political science fellow Mark P. Jones.
The first report, based on a March survey of registered Texas voters, examines voter intentions for the November 2022 races for Texas governor, lieutenant governor and attorney general, the May 2022 Democratic lieutenant governor and attorney general primary runoffs, and the May 2022 Republican attorney general primary runoff.
The second report examines voter intention among Texas Hispanics for the November 2022 gubernatorial and attorney-general elections as well as opinions regarding President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
The third report, also based on a March survey of registered Texas voters, examines the favorability ratings of 22 local, state and national political figures as well as voter intentions for four May 2022 Democratic and Republican statewide primary runoffs.
