The oil market needs central bank-style guidance from Saudi Arabia.

In an op-ed for The Hill, oil and energy fellow Mark Finley writes that Saudi Arabia and other OPEC+ countries shouldn't wait to see demand before producing supply — the approach recently suggested by Saudi Arabia’s energy minister, Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman — if they are to keep the world's oil markets adequately supplied following last year's pandemic-induced price collapse.
