Fellow in Disease and PovertyThere are two medicines currently available to treat Chagas disease, which affects millions of the poor in the Americas, but less than 1 percent of those infected receive either drug. In response to this public health crisis, a Global Chagas Disease Coalition of organizations has been established to support research and development for new and improved drugs, diagnostics, vaccines and other health technologies.
