Andrew Dessler, an atmospheric scientist at Texas A&M University who studies both the science and politics of climate change, will describe how climate skeptics interpret scientific data to support their particular views. In this way, the debate over climate change turns into a debate over which reality should be believed — instead of a debate about the actual science.
