Middle Eastern countries might contribute support in Ukraine's post-war reconstruction through their aid and development or contributions to multilateral funding appeals or via support to United Nations agencies, fellow Kristian Ulrichsen tells AL-Monitor.
“We're not yet seeing quite the same degree of sort of physical surveillance [in Saudi Arabia] as we've been seeing in China, for example, but China is working with the Saudis and other Gulf countries to start to implement that,” nonresident fellow Annelle Sheline told Insider of China's involvement in Saudi's futuristic Neom project.
“If there is no middle ground solution and Baku tries to establish that corridor with the use of force, Iran will not be as passive as it was in 2020,” fellow Mohammad Tabaar told Middle East Eye of the recent rising tensions between Baku and Yerevan. “This time it will act.”
