Kirstin Matthews, Baker Institute fellow in science and technology policy, has compiled a helpful list of frequently asked questions and answers to help readers learn the basics about stem cell science and policy.
Matthews heads up the Baker Institute International Stem Cell Policy Program, which brings together scientists, ethicists, policymakers, media experts, and community and business leaders to find new ways to engage the general public in a dialogue on these vital issues. One of the program's highlights is "Stem Cells: Saving Lives or Crossing Lines," a series of international conferences, major public policy research and publications, and workshops to bring together scholars and scientists from the international community.
