Peter J. Hotez, fellow in disease and poverty, has been named one of Fortune Magazine's "34 Leaders Who Are Changing Health Care" for his work on deadly infectious diseases around the world. Hotez joins visionaries and advocates such as Bill Gates and former Vice President Joe Biden on the list.
At a Baker Institute event on April 27, Hotez will discuss findings from his latest book “Blue Marble Health: An Innovative Plan to Fight Diseases of the Poor Amid Wealth,” making a case for creating public policy and global partnerships to control or eliminate some of the world’s worst poverty-related illnesses.
