Health policy fellow Vivian Ho is quoted in an article on MD Anderson Cancer Center’s just-concluded fiscal year and the impact of Hurricane/Tropical Storm Harvey.
"It's a relief the center appears to be fixing its fiscal problems," said Ho. "The question remains whether insurance is going to pay for their higher-quality, higher-cost care. But if they can keep this up, it suggests maybe their shortfall was mostly due to start-up difficulties with their electronic record-keeping system."
