An increased demand for liquefied natural gas in Asia may result in a Gulf Coast region energy boom. Ken Medlock, senior director of the Center for Energy Studies, explains that energy companies are rushing to ship liquefied natural gas to Asia, heading the industry toward an overbuild that may depress Asian prices for a decade.
