On March 8, the Baker Institute welcomed His Excellency Khalid al Falih, Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Resources of Saudi Arabia and chairman of Saudi Aramco. The minister met with Secretary James A. Baker, III, and Ambassador Edward P. Djerejian and was briefed by fellows from the Baker Institute’s Center for Energy Studies on key energy policy issues such as global energy poverty and the development of effective and sustainable environmental policies.
