Biography

Katherine R. Zodrow, Ph.D. is an assistant professor of environmental engineering at Montana Tech and a nonresident scholar in the Center for Energy Studies at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy. Zodrow’s research interests include water treatment systems, the water-energy nexus, interactions between microorganisms and engineered systems, and nanotechnology.

Zodrow was previously a postdoctoral researcher at Rice University with a joint appointment in the Center for Energy Studies and the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. She received a B.S. in civil engineering and an M.S. in environmental engineering from Rice University, and she obtained a Ph.D. in chemical and environmental engineering at Yale University as a National Science Foundation graduate research fellow.
