The diplomatic sphere has historically been dominated by men, and despite recent advances in gender equality, women continue to face unique opportunities and challenges representing their nations  abroad. At this event, four female international officials — the consuls general of Indonesia, Mexico, Norway and Spain — explored the evolving role of women in diplomacy and the critical issues facing women in office around the world.

This event was co-hosted by the Roundtable Young Professionals and the Consulate General of Mexico in Houston. Follow @BakerInstitute on Twitter and join the conversation online with #BakerRYP.
