Cyberspace in America: A Status Report

The Baker Institute Technology, Society and Public Policy Program continues its cyber initiative with a presentation by The Honorable Dale Meyerrose.

Meyerrose, a retired Air Force major general and former Senate-confirmed chief information officer for the U.S. Intelligence Community, will broadly address the status of cyberspace in America. He will also detail some of the top cyber issues affecting government, industry and academia, and will host a question-and-answer session regarding the specific security concerns facing the energy, health care and financial industries. Meyerrose is the current vice president and general manager of cyber and information assurance for Harris Corporation.

The Baker Institute collaborates on this important event with the Greater Houston Partnership, the Ken Kennedy Institute for Information Technology and the Rice University Computer Security Lab.
