Terrorism in 2007

Terrorism in 2007 is presented by Joan Neuhaus Schaan, the Baker Institute fellow in homeland security and terrorism, on July 19th.ᅡᅠ Opening with a synopsis of why the Houston area provides a target-rich and attractive operating environment for those with nefarious intentions, Neuhaus Schaan then will familiarize the audience with the methods, tactics and weapons utilized by extremists worldwide and within the United States.ᅡᅠ Case studies will provide vivid examples of the concepts covered, as well as indications of the breadth and depth of the threat and challenges facing those in the United States.
