A Sector in Transition: Transportation in the 21st Century
The Center for Energy Studies and MIT's Center for Energy and Environmental Policy Research host a discussion on the future of transportation that highlights topics such as technological innovation, regulation, consumer preference, supply-chain challenges and demographic transitions.
Founded in 1993, Rice University's Baker Institute for Public Policy has established itself as one of the premier nonpartisan public policy think tanks in the country. The institute ranks 4th among university-affiliated think tanks worldwide and 17th among U.S. think tanks, according to a 2016 study by the University of Pennsylvania's Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program. The institute's Center for Energy Studies is ranked No. 2 among the world’s energy- and resource-policy think tanks, making it the No. 1 such think tank in the United States, according to the survey.
