Graduate Students
In addition to policy-focused coursework, the James A. Baker III Institute of Public Policy seeks to engage graduate-level students with meaningful research and academic opportunities.
The Science and Technology Policy Program offers unpaid internship opportunities to graduate students in the Houston area. Graduate interns assist fellows and program staff in the publication of research publications, policy reports and conference proceedings, as well as gain valuable experience hosting events and representing the Baker Institute to our sponsors. For more information, please email the Science and Technology Program.
The Baker Institute Energy Forum periodically sponsors graduate student fellowships. Recent recipients have pursued energy-related doctoral studies in fields including economics, the environment and engineering. Email Amy Myers Jaffe, director of the Baker Institute Energy Forum, for more information.
