Associate Director of Stewardship

Biography

Starr Dickerson is the associate director of stewardship at the Baker Institute. She collaborates with centers and programs to write donor impact reports for endowments and current use gifts and writes all gift acknowledgments for the institute’s director. Dickerson also works closely with the development and events teams to deliver Baker Roundtable benefits and member events.

Since joining the Baker Institute in 2007, Dickerson has held various positions in development, finance, and editing. At Rice University, she also worked with Rice Humanities and the Glasscock School of Continuing Studies. Her past experience includes event planning, donor and client relations, visual merchandising, and marketing.

Dickerson holds a bachelor’s degree in Spanish from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master of Liberal Studies from Southern Methodist University, graduating summa cum laude.
