Biography:

Page Somerville Robinson, a senior from St. Louis, Mo., majoring in philosophy and anthropology, is interested in civil liberties, civil rights issues and public policy. In summer 2010, Robinson worked in the U.S. Policy Project at Institut Français des Relations Internationales (IFRI) under Laurence Nardon and Jacques Mistral, researching President Barack Obama’s regulatory policy and writing a comparative analysis of the women’s movement in the United States and France titled “I’m Not a Feminist, But…,” which was published by IFRI in September 2010. Since the internship, Robinson has been working on her honors thesis, which examines the culture of investment bankers in Houston and the processes of ethical subjectivation.
