Navin Vij
Navin Vij, a political science major from Fox River Grove, Ill., graduated from Rice University in 2005. He assisted Ambassador Teresita Schaffer of the Center for Strategic and International Studies in research on AIDS in Southeast Asia and the pharmaceutical industry in summer 2004. He presented the results of his research, “The HIV/AIDS Epidemic: U.S. Policy Regarding Access to Drugs,” at the Baker Institute in August 2004. Vij was recommended for the program by Schaffer. He began studies at Baylor College of Medicine in at Houston in 2005, and in 2009 began residency at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland, Ohio. |
