Kelly O'Connor
Kelly O’Connor, a senior majoring in global health, policy studies and sociology, is interested in research on global health policy. Kelly assisted Dena Puskin in research on telemedicine and health policy at the Health Resources and Services Administration of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services in Washington, D.C., in summer 2010. She presented the results of her research, “Barriers to the Implementation of Telemedicine and Possible Solutions: Lessons from the Field,” at the Baker Institute in August 2010. She was recommended for participation in the program by bioengineering professor Rebecca Richards-Kortum and is from Brown College. In spring 2010, Kelly studied in Geneva, Switzerland, and worked as a conference program intern at the International AIDS Society. |
