Ashley Allen

Ashley Allen, a philosophy major from Arlington, Texas, graduated from Rice University in 2008. She assisted in research on women’s health and reproductive rights at Planned Parenthood Federation of America in the summer of 2007. She presented the results of her research, “Medicaid Citizen Verification Requirements and Their Impact on Family Planning Services,” at the Baker Institute in September 2007. Allen was recommended by George Sher of the Department of Philosophy at Rice. After graduating, she worked for MS Legal in Dallas, Texas, and began studies at Harvard Law School in 2009.
